Rell joins T2 after her second successful year as a member of the U.S. Freeski Rookie Team. The 17-year-old Park City native has already competed in seven World Cup Slopestyle and Big Air competitions, with a career best finish of 16th in Big Air and 19th in Slopestyle. She says one of her goals this season is to break the top-15 in World Cup – we say she’s darn close and we’re stoked to see what she can do this season!
Tell us your goals for the upcoming season?
Top 15 at World Cup.
What was the highlight of your season last year?
Being able to travel around the world and compete.
Who/what is your biggest rival?
My best friend we have always competed together and we push each other to try new things.
What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Math because I like how there is one correct answer.
Who is you greatest supporter?
My parents and grandparents.

What’s been the greatest disappointment in your career?
I don’t really have any because all my disappointments: mistakes have made me grow as a skier.
What are the best words of encouragement that you have been given?
Surround yourself with people that support you.
What is your pre competition routine?
I just eat breakfast and then ski some warm up laps.
What meal is most important the pre-race/competition meal or post? And what do you eat?
I like Mac and cheese.
What is the best way that you as an athlete can give back?
Using their followings to gain support/ awareness for things that are important to them. Example environmental issues and many other things.
